Sacred Warrior Stress Management Strategies as a Path to Total Freedom

A sacred warrior is an individual who seeks to remain conscious of how energy is moving and flowing in and around them. They see that all things in the Universe are interrelated and interconnected in many wonderful and mysterious ways. They attempt to understand how things happen through their multifaceted interconnectedness. They seek to use their understanding in order to feel more alive, more vibrant and at ease with the processes and challenges of life.
Warriors know that stress is self-created and occurs when they fail to handle chaos and change effectively. Warriors never worry about outcome but instead act fearlessly and without regrets. They know that only if they act totally can life support them totally.
Warriors accept everything that is outside of their control in order to be at peace with themselves. What they cannot control is not worth fretting over. Warriors allow for the unpredictable as part of life’s many occurrences .and learn to let go of control with timing and so retain self-control. Warriors learn to stay centered by having an alliance with acceptance.
Warriors are awake, aware and alert to all the ways that energy draining emotions get created. They seek to know which thoughts trigger these emotions and then choose not to think them. Warriors are especially careful not to use their imaginations in ways that create energy drains, instead warriors envision themselves living life more freely and more abundantly.
Warriors notice how they make it easy for others to push their buttons, and then change their own behavior accordingly. Warriors know how to use conflict with others as a boost. When conflict occurs warriors look for hidden opportunities to gain energy or to learn about themselves and the relationships that exist between things. When dealing with conflict warriors will always take the road of least resistance.
Warriors take responsibility for their own emotions and experience all of their feelings without blame or guilt. When negative emotions come up for warriors they feel gratitude knowing that here is yet another chance to free themselves of unwanted baggage.
Warriors learn to breathe deeply and consciously, allowing the breath to originate from deep within the center. They use the breath to prevent or release stress and tension. Warriors know that using the breath properly is a vital key to obtaining freedom.
Warriors embrace change, they look for hidden opportunities and new possibilities when change occurs especially when it is uninvited. Warriors know that there are jewels of knowledge hidden in all energy charged
situations.
Warriors stay out of judgment and give others the right and freedom to choose their own path. They assist others when it is appropriate to do so. The hardest thing for warriors is to let others be. And so, it is only by changing themselves that warriors can show others that change is possible.
Warriors acknowledge their fears and are willing to confront and move through them. Warriors know that their fears may be signals: that there could be something to learn that is being resisted. Warriors know that the worst thing they can do is to deny that they have fear. Some warriors go so far as to treat their fears like honored guests waiting for them to reveal something valuable to the warrior. Once that is done they say goodbye to their fears for good.
Warriors enjoy what is currently in front of them, let go of what is already behind them, and prepare for what is yet ahead of them. Warriors stay present in the moment with whatever task is at hand. They use attention deliberately and consciously. Warriors are not given to daydreaming and wishful thinking or to holding onto grudges and regrets.
They know that these kinds of moods and indulgences are a total waste of their energy that could be put to use in some meaningful way.
Warriors seek to always be in flow and to let go of anything and everything that inhibits or interferes with flow in their lives. They remain open to all situations as possibilities that may enrich them in unforeseeable ways.
The goal of the sacred warriors is to merge consciously and energetically with the universal life-stream. In doing so they help restore to life its magic, its beauty and its mystery. Happiness for warriors depends on the restoration and realization of these qualities.
Ultimately sacred warriors seek to maintain a balance between relaxation, joyfulness and intensity in all matters of life.
