Soma~Plants of the Gods; the Divine Resins
The ancient Soma is a divine substance made to ingest in a variety of forms that you may drink, eat or smoke in order to attain spiritual self-knowledge, transcendental wisdom and meaningful dreams. Soma herbs include, Amanita muscaria and pantarina mushrooms, Calamus root, Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, Egyptian blue lotus, Psilocybin mushroom, Kava kava. Syrian Rue, Ling qi and Chaga mushroom.
Lord Siva is identified with Soma, which was consumed by the Hindu gods and their priests during ancient rituals. “Indra consumes copious amounts of Soma.” the Vedas. A sacred elixir when consumed not only healed illness but also brought spiritual wisdom and great riches as it extended life.

Its true origin is believed to be heaven, from whence it was brought to earth by an Eagle.

*Mahavira is a spiritual teacher who was born in the early 6th century BCE. He abandoned all worldly possessions at the age of about 30 and left home in pursuit of spiritual awakening, becoming an ascetic. Mahavira, the founder of Jainism practiced intense meditation and severe austerities, after which he attained Kevala Jnana (omniscience). He taught for three decades and attained moksha (liberation from delusion). Mahavira taught attainment of self realization (atma-anubhuti) through the practice of bhedvijnāna, which involves being aware of the soul's true nature. Mahavira practiced very hard penance for 12 years to take away all the karmas and the attachments to the worldly pleasures. He undertook severe fasts, did meditation and also discarded all his clothes and remained naked.
With Soma simply as Amanita-cannabis we move the assemblage point of the world allowing a new perception and new paradigm to filter in to humanities consciousness.
